I look forward to seeing how his story will be playing out and where this goes. He just has things he wants to protect and goes about doing so in ways you'd expect from someone with his background. What I really appreciate from this story is that this treats Ijin like a merc. I admit, I have a weakness for these types of stories: the whole underestimated/unassuming kid that turns out to be a badass and is only trying to protect his way of life and those he cares about (and it being done in a school setting). He's brought back by a Korean lieutenant he rescues during a mission 10 years later and is given 6mo of assimilation training to get back to Korean society and his remaining family (a younger bullied sister and a grandfather who both don't know about his mercenary past) and to go to high school. Sole(?) plane survivor in a foreign land at the age of 9, Ijin survives by being trained as a child mercenary. Think Sagara Sousuke from FMP! post-fumoffu but with no government/brass leash or mission assignment (at least, none so far in the first 10 chapters), along with much better integration skills, and you basically have Yu Ijin. but if you like these trashy fights with good art where the mc is op then go off cuz that’s all you’ll get out of it it’s annoying everyone is so annoying and the fight are subpar there is nothing to look forward to.

along with that i understand he cares about his sister but as proven he can’t always be there so why wouldn’t you teach your sister how to fight especially since she’s constantly wining about making trouble for people. it really could have been a plot moment for them to get closer. they haven’t seen each other in 10 years, so going off of that they are basically strangers. the most annoying thing is the relationship between him in his sister besides it being down right weird even for sister con standards. there’s no end goal to anticipate for which only adds to the blandness of the manhwa. No one gets development not even the mc himself. the other characters barely have any substance besides “rich” and or “gangster”. the story only moves if his sister is getting beat up.
Honestly the concepts of this wouldn’t go far but there are better ways this could have been handle then how it was.
